While not confirmed yet Amazon is in the works lining up “major, well-known” movie and TV channels to add to their video streaming service.

This could be a game changer for those like me, who endlessly browse Netflix looking for the right thing to watch, only to switch over to Hulu to browse there, then on to HBOgo and then Amazon and back to Netflix! Hopefully Amazon can bring together some of those services so I can finally stop browsing and start watching.
In April of 2014 Amazon and HBO made a deal to get select HBO shows on Amazon Prime Video. As much as I would like to have Netflix, Hulu and Amazon integrated into one, it's more likely that Amazon is going to do the same thing they did with HBO with other cable channels such as ABC, NBC and such.
Many channels have some form of online streaming, though they tend to be clunky, slow and difficult to use. There would be a lot of potential benefit to various cable companies to have Amazon provide them with a streamlined streaming service, especially channels who have no streaming service at all.
